Emilee Hollingsworth, PTA
Newly Elected PTA Representative at Large
- Emilee is a PTA from Anniston, Alabama, who graduated from Jeff State Community College in 2006.
- She and her wife have been married for almost 7 years and have 2 beautiful children, both boys, a 13-year-old and a 4-year-old.
- Emilee has worked in a variety of settings over her 19 years as a PTA, from acute care to orthopedic outpatient to nursing homes, but is currently working for Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Outpatient, with a focus on neurodegenerative diseases and balance and vestibular disorders. She is also the Site Coordinator of Clinical Education for NEARMC Rehab Services, and is a Level 2 APTA Certified Clinical Instructor.
- She is actively pursuing her BS in Healthcare Management from UAB and hopes to graduate in 2027, and plans to use the degree to manage a clinic in the future. She is also currently working toward her APTA PTA Advanced Proficiency Pathways in Neurology and should be able to submit for consideration by the end of March.
- Emilee’s favorite hobby is reading and favorite place is the beach, and reading on the beach is heaven!
