Marilyn Gossman Professionalism in Physical Therapy Award
Purpose: To honor a Chapter Member demonstrating outstanding professionalism in any of the areas of physical therapy service, practice, education and/or research.
Governmental Affairs Award
Purpose: To recognize the Chapter Member most effective in positively representing the physical therapy profession through political activities influencing state or national legislation.
Barbara Bradford Leadership Award
Purpose: To recognize a non-elected Chapter Council Member making the most significant contribution resulting in Chapter growth and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their service to ALAPTA.
Physical Therapy Advocate Award
Purpose: To recognize an individual outside of the profession whose activities promote and elevate the practice of physical therapy.
Innovations in Physical Therapy Award
Purpose: To honor a physical therapy professional or clinic demonstrating futuristic thinking through innovative programming.
